jcb telehandlers

Rocket Rentals, a company based in Gloucestershire has been speaking out with positivity surrounding giant machinery manufacturer JCB who have just produced a very small compact jcb telehandler. The first batch of 515-40 compact Loadall arrived with Rocket ready to be sold in the UK from Holt JCB.
So far, the JCB telehandler as part of a six machine order through Rocket Rentals, places it as the smallest Loadall telescopic handler model that JCB has ever produced. JCB, based in Dursley is in possession of two machines whilst awaiting four more. Each machine is complete with a license for road road use and air-conditioning included.
Already, one of the telehandlers have been snapped up by Devizes - based construction firm Gaiger Bros Ltd. They are using the telehandler on a school renovation project in Warminster over a three month period. The telehandler is small at only 1.56m which means that the JCB will be able to navigate itself around smaller areas and tighter spots - helpful when going through narrow passways typical of old school buildings. At only 1.56m this is the only singular JCB who could perform on this project.
Without the inventive telehandler, a customer such as the school would have had to approach Rocket Rentals for another type of machinery, perhaps renting out more than one at an increased work load and manpower cost. They would have had to endure finding an additional machine to rent that would go as far as they could in the proximities of the school before passing on to another machine to the point of construction.
Increased customer satisfaction adds to the JCB branded bow as the customer does indeed, safe money. With additional health and safety benefits, the palletised loads held by the 515-40 absolve the manual handling of bricks which would have been essential with the dumper option.
Further to this narrow width, the 515-40 model is just 1.8m high, 2.97m long and weighs less than 3.5 tonnes. Delivering powerful performance despite these compact dimensions the machine will bring the benefits of JCB’s market-leading Loadall range to previously inaccessible construction applications.
Rocket Rentals MD, Simon Tomblin said: “From first sight of the new 515-40 we recognised the great opportunities it presented – opening up niche markets and allowing us to offer something different from the competition. It is so compact and low that you can now do jobs not previously possible without losing the lift and reach capabilities that make telehandlers so popular in plant hire.
“Versatility is the key for us and this machine can handle general construction duties as well as appealing to the waste and recycling industry – giving us a good route into a potentially lucrative sector. With this in mind we have specified one of the machines with solid puncture resistant tyres. Another great feature is the compatibility with skid steer attachments such as sweepers, augers, buckets and forks - again creating up a significant number of possible hire applications.”
“This is another great machine from JCB to add to its extensive range of telehandlers. We chose JCB because it’s a great brand that is widely accepted on site and the machines are extremely reliable. It is these qualities which make JCB the best for materials handling.” Founded in 2003, Rocket Rentals boasts a fleet of nearly 300 machines comprising 1-20 tonne excavators, dumpers, telehandlers and compaction equipment. Of this extensive lineup there are over 40 JCB Loadall telescopic handlers and an increasing percentage of JCB JS tracked excavators, including three new JS130 models. Central to the JCB 515 - 40 is a patented inventive chassis design. For the lowest working height to be achieved, the JCB challenege the regular design concepts in order to create a one special off-set, single-spine chassis with the JCB cab taking up the left over space.
