The new Eco range of jcb 3cx for sale promise a wide range of efficiency improvements and cost-saving benefits. JCB pride themselves on the innovations they have delivered to the industry since the first backhoe loader was produced in 1953. Here is a closer look at the features of the new range, and what they mean when it comes to saving you money.

The new jcb 3cx and 4CX backhoe loaders offer the potential for typical fuel savings of up to 16%, which JCB say is thanks to the use of brand new innovative technologies. Some of these include a three pump hydraulic system, locking torque converter driveline and other improvements that are designed to lower ownership and operating costs.

EcoRoad

The JCB TorqueLock system within the driveline provides a potential 25% fuel saving at high speed travel, via the use of a locking torque converter to increase efficiency. The new feature also offers up to a 10% gain in vehicle speed for hill climbing and high speed roading operations. The JCB TorqueLock system means the 3CX can run for longer on the same amount of fuel. This results in a drop in fuel consumption and carbon dioxide emissions, which along with the machine's reduced noise emissions make the 3CX Eco suitable for urban and residential applications.

Power assisted brakes installed on all new [LINK2} and 4CX backhoe loaders means reduced effort for the operator by employing proportional braking effort throughout the brake pedal travel. The power brakes also ensure a full pad release, which adds to the potential fuel consumption reduction. The new EcoRoad technology allows fuel savings of up to 25%, making longer working operations more productive and profitable.

JCB are particularly proud of their DieselMax engine, which was used to break the diesel car land speed record in 2006, reaching a top speed of 350mph. Whilst the 3CX cannot boast such a speed, the technology employed in the engine provides high torque at low revs, giving higher performance in pushing and hill climb applications.

EcoDig

Hydraulic EcoDig innovations on the new Eco range include a Return To Dig feature that automatically resets the shovel to improve cycle times. Efficiency is improved by a selectable transmission disconnect feature so that maximum hydraulic power can be diverted to the loader for bigger, faster loads.

Elsewhere on the hydraulic front, the Hydraulic Speed Control (HSC) on the loader lever disconnects the 2nd hydraulic pump, allowing more power to give increased tractive effort when loading. Additionally, the HSC can be used to help the operator deliver finer, more precise grading with the loader.

New circuitry options on the 3CX's hydraulics allow for combined hammer and bi-directional auxiliary circuits, which provide single acting and double acting hydraulic flow. This means the new models can be fitted with a wider range of attachments than ever. This adds to the versatility of an already multi-function machine, with the greater use of attachments increasing productivity and potential applications.

These cost-saving features make the latest Eco model of jcb 3cx for sale an attractive prospect for any business needing a new backhoe loader.
