Gloucestershire-based Rocket Rentals, based in Dursley, is investing in six of the newly launched JCB 515-40 materials handling machines and the first has gone straight out on hire to Devizesbased construction firm Gaiger Bros Ltd, where it is working on a school renovation project. With Rocket Rental's onboard, it marks the first deal for the new model, which is the smallest telescopic Loadall handler that JCB has ever produced. It is compact but that doesn't mean the new JCB model loses its ability to pack a punch. It's able to handle a massive 1500kg payload at a 4-meter lift height. This is thanks to its width of only 1.56m so this means it can access tight spots on construction sites. A JCB spokesman said: “The newly-launched 515-40 machine is proving hugely popular and we are delighted to have won such a significant order from Rocket Rentals.
JCB take production of their machinery very seriously. JCB and other such massive equipment are big bucks both to the added value of the business and also to criminals. Over £1 million worth of agricultural and construction equipment is stolen each week and only a tiny 5% is recovered. These statistics have been revealed by the Plant and National Agriculture Unit. Recently a JCB WORTH £30,000 that belonged to Attleys Roofing was taken by robbers from a Newbury building site. Luckily for these owners they had installed the machine with a TRACKER which can be placed anywhere in the vehicle for easy recovery without the criminal or anyone else even knowing its there. Kill two birds with one stone so to speak. Of course the owners were over the moon and the police did a great job in successfully recovering the vehicle. Based in Banbury, Attleys Roofing has 15 vehicles including a mix of plant and vans fitted with the TRACKERS. In this instance, the JCB Telehandler was stolen within a day of being delivered to a building site. Luckily because of the TRACKER the signal it gave off led police to the stolen JCB which was found in a contained beside the Thames, in Surbiton, London only one week later. “I was very impressed with the level of service from TRACKER,” says Tina Attley, company secretary for Attleys Roofing. “We received calls every day to update us on the progress of the case. Without TRACKER that JCB may never have been found leaving the company having to replace £30,000 worth of equipment. We already have another JCB on order to add to the fleet and we will definitely be getting it fitted with a TRACKER.” If you are looking for a jcb 3cx for sale then fitting with a TRACKER is the best thing you can do to safeguard yourself from unwanted attacks.
